Business Development Seminar Series

Seminar seriesIn partnership with Pima Community College Small Business Development Center (SBDC), the Arizona Center for Innovation (AzCI) will hold 10 business development seminars and workshops during 2003 -2004. These seminars are scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month, from 3:00 to 5:30 pm, at the University of Arizona Science and Technology Park, 9040 South Rita Road. Each seminar will include a business networking session. The seminar series is open to the general public. The seminars cover various topics related to the creation and development of new companies, with a special emphasis on high technology businesses. The cost is $20 per seminar with special rates for students ($5) and faculty members ($15).

An important element for all high technology companies, this seminar describes some of the fundamental principles in leasing and operating office and laboratory space.

+ Investor Development and Grant Writing

July 21, 2004
Presented in part by James Strickland, Coronado Venture Funds
This seminar analyzes strategies for obtaining early stage investment, venture capital, and state and federal grants and loans.
