The Arizona Center for Innovation team will conduct an assessment of your venture and technology needs to create a unique business development program. Your customized program may include:
- Ongoing staff coaching
- Workshops led by experts
- Online content and continuing education
- Business planning and development support
- Leadership training
- Assistance with fund-raising plans and presentations
- Support in product development and prototyping
- Introductions to service partners with discounted services
You'll have assistance from our experienced mentors to help you at every step of the way.
Our Business Model
The Arizona Center for Innovation's business model is based on the Innovation Continuum.
Our four-phase program aligns with the needs of a new venture as it moves along the continuum from idea to commercialization.
Start-Up
- A series of workshops that run continuously and provide a general introduction to business; most of these are provided by our community partners
- Ideal for inventors, scientists, engineers, and new entrepreneurs
Mentored Launch
- Pre-incubation support, up to three months in length but varies with venture needs
- Services include: workshops, online content, and coaching
- Ideal for entrepreneurs who need early-stage assessment and preparation for incubation support
Commercial Reality
- Full incubation support, typically up to two years but varies with venture needs
- Services include: individual mentoring, coaching, workshops, executive sessions, support in creating an Advisory Committee and Board of Directors, industry contacts, University of Arizona interns, full-service work space, and discounted lab space. At the end of this phase, clients should be ready to graduate and move into community
