The Arizona Center for Innovation is a subsidiary of Campus Research Corporation
(CRC) a 501(c)3 corporation. AzCI is managed by a team composed of entrepreneurs,
Campus Research Corporation’s management team and experienced consultants

Anita Bell
Anita
Bell is the Administrative Associate for the Arizona Center for Innovation.
Her principal responsibilities include managing the Center’s day-to-day
operations, assisting client needs, connecting clients with the Center’s
business partners, and coordinating committee meetings. Prior to joining
the Arizona Center for Innovation, Bell served as the Senior Receptionist
for the Office of Economic Development at the University of Arizona.
Molly
Gilbert
Molly
Gilbert is Director of Public Relations. In her current position, Gilbert
acts as community liaison between Park companies, Park management and
the immediate community by assisting Park companies with locating resources
at the University of Arizona or in the Tucson community. She also works
on developing programs and services benefiting park employees and coordinates
the intern program for the Park and UA Office of Economic Development.
In addition, Gilbert handles media relations for the Park, the Arizona
Center for Innovation and the UA Office of Economic Development. She earned
a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Media Arts and a Masters in Business Administration
from the University of Arizona and a Post-Baccalaureate Teaching Certificate
from the University of Phoenix. Gilbert was born and raised in Phoenix,
Arizona.
Kenneth M. Marcus
Kenneth
M. Marcus, Park Director, is an employee of Campus Research Corporation.
His experience includes: financial reporting, budgeting, loan funding
packages, cash management, risk management, operations management, consulting
and employment with high technology and real estate companies and government.
Marcus has served as controller for Bell Howell Cope Company and Interim
Executive Director of Finance for Tucson Unified School District. He holds
degrees from the University of Arizona and the University of Phoenix.
Marcus is a native of Southern Arizona and remains active in community
issues. Recent service includes membership on the Pima County Board of
Adjustments (District 4), Pima County Budget Advisory Committee and City
of Tucson Southeast Planning & Coordinating Committee. He has also
served on the Board of Directors and Officers for several non-profit corporations
including Tucson Chapter President of the Institute of Management Accountants.
Marcus’ active memberships include the Building Owners and Managers
Association (BOMA) of Tucson and Association of University Research Parks
(AURP).
Marie Wesselhoft
Marie Wesselhoft is an experienced healthcare executive who has extensive
experience in sales, operations, marketing and business development. As
director, Ms. Wesselhoft will manage the daily operations of AzCI while
continuing to recruit new clients and provide business development support
for existing clients.
Bruce A. Wright
Bruce
A. Wright is Associate Vice President for Economic Development at the
University of Arizona. He also serves as the Chief Operating Officer of
the University of Arizona Science and Technology Park. He received his
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Willamette University (Salem,
Oregon). During his fifteen years at the University of Arizona, Wright
has served in several administrative positions including Senior Officer
for Community Affairs and Economic Development, Assistant to the President,
and Director of the Office of Community and Public Service. Prior to joining
the University, he served as Chief-of-Staff to U.S. Congressman Morris
K. Udall, and as Staff Consultant to the US House of Representatives Committee
on Interior and Insular Affairs. Wright began his professional career
as a management analyst for the City of Tucson and was the Deputy Director
of the Commission on Improved Governmental Management. Wright serves on
the board of directors of the Association of University Research Parks,
Arizona High Tech Industry Cluster, Greater Tucson Economic Council and
Southern Arizona Industry and Aerospace Alliance.
